Sleeping dollies & other softies

I love my grand kids.  They are my inspiration for a lot of my current sewing projects.  After the first 2 were born almost 7 years ago, I went full throttle making quilts, clothes, toys, etc.  The BEST part is they love everything I make for them – and I get lots of hugs and kisses as thank yous 🙂

They are my best advertising as their Made by Mamo garments and accessories happen to be their favorites (warms my heart). All the comments I have received from other moms, my own kids and friends is why I’ve begun my business.

Here’s a little sample of the recent garments I’ve made.

This is the year for tooth fairy visits to the 2 oldest, so I made each a tooth fairy monster.  Evan put his on a stool in their living room so the tooth fairy didn’t have to fly so high !

For Christmas this year I made little sleeping bags for baby dolls I purchased @ Target. http://www.target.com/p/circo-mini-babies/-/A-14782682#prodSlot=_1_1. They were a HIT !!

I’ve been busy making some of these little sleeping bags for my Etsy site (they were also part of my last destash challenge).  The outside of the bags are made with minky.  I LOVE how soft and comfy it is.  The lining and attached pillows are flannel.  These are just the right size for mini baby dolls and Beanie Babies.

Look for these on my shop https://www.etsy.com/shop/MadebyMamo later today.
